I Talk To The Trees
We’re Back Again
The masters and artwork have made it to the manufacturers and the CD will probably we out in about a month. So to introduce, or reacquaint people with the band we have a few informatational items lined up, starting with an excerpt from The Gits biopic: Around Around.
The Gits (UK) – Public Information Film The First
Voice Of The Rain – Other People’s Angels
And we’re off… The first of the Voice Of The Rain reissues with the remainder to follow at a pace once the Gits CD is finished off.
Christine – Fireworld
I stuck a video camera outside the back door for five minutes last night to catch the howling wind and the clouds flying past so ended up doing this.
More Christine here.
In The End
As the Gits (UK) Retrospeculative looks like it will come out in the not too distant future here’s the epnoymous and indeed first track from it.
The 日本語 is partly an attempt to distinguish us from the confusion of having the same name as the ill fated American band of the same era.
And all the best indie* bands these days are Japanese of course.
*in the 80s UK sense not the Japanese division of record labels.
Cheap At Twice The Price
I might have to change where I’ve written that the Gits single is worth slightly less than sentimental value as someone seems to have paid £120 for it.
I can only think they had us confused with the ill fated American band of the same era.
It’s The Law!
The Sessionaires now a legal requirement.
The Inevitable Video
Inevitably of old Public Domain footage.
John E. Parker & The Sessionaires – Vigiles
The Long Unawaited Sessionaires Site Is Up
Featuring songs about hot air balloons from long before they were fashionable.
