And we’re off… The first of the Voice Of The Rain reissues with the remainder to follow at a pace once the Gits CD is finished off.
Noise
Sounds that I make
Christine – Fireworld
I stuck a video camera outside the back door for five minutes last night to catch the howling wind and the clouds flying past so ended up doing this.
More Christine here.
It’s The Law!
The Sessionaires now a legal requirement.
Charlton Musgrove Recites The Classics
No.17 Lou Reed – I Remember You
The well known thespian takes time out from his one man review ‘They Had Proper Actors In My Day’ to perform a unique interpretation of an underrated classic from the Mistrial album.
Featuring library music.
The Inevitable Video
Inevitably of old Public Domain footage.
John E. Parker & The Sessionaires – Vigiles
The Long Unawaited Sessionaires Site Is Up

Failed Attempt At The Smithsonian Remix Competition
As seen on the Soundcloud
I didn’t feel this went anywhere in the end so haven’t entered it but there are a few bits I like. It’s based on Bright Sunny South in the Smithsonian Folkways playlist with the addition of various nature sounds that they uploaded. Mostly I’ve played around with effects and using a drum replacer VST to create the midi to trigger rhythmic parts. The only thing added manually is diddily dum dum dum the big bass drum.
Pip Pip Wot Ho!
As a taster of the first new Sessionaires material since 1990 here’s a cover of a classic from 1924.
We’ve taken a few liberties with it but have tried to keep the essence of the original Greenwich Time Signal
Fly Me To The Moon
With some new Sessionaires tracks on the horizon here’s a remaster of the original Sunny Sessions of 1990.
The Gits Drink Milk
Tunes that have failed to progress beyond the early rounds of voting for the forthcoming compilation from ‘Orsham’s The Gits (UK) to be released by Firestation Records of Berlin. Plus a few oddities. Actually rather more than a few.
Decisions decisions.
