I couldn’t find a date for this one but it’s from a collection of 78s covering 1920-1950.

2019. From Asia Echoes – Laos & Vietnam. Cat Ba is one of the 367 islands that make up the Bat Ba Archipelago off the northeastern coast of Vietnam.
Most of the island is a national park and features rugged tree covered hills primarily of limestone with peaks of 600m.

Multi instrumentalist graduate of the Royal College of Music who was initially involved in early music performance and with his folk-prog band Gryphon before becoming a film, television and library music composer in addition to being a session performer.

1965. Single A-Side/ German jazz pianist, composer, arranger, and band leader who had a #3 hit in the UK with this single.

2009. From the Mondo Cane EP. Also on their second album, Der Name Dieser Band Ist Karpatenhund, and the second occasion their record company collapsed beneath them. The singer then went off to concentrate on a TV presenting career and the rest of the band returned to Cologne to finish building their recording studio and return to recording as Locas In Love from which Karpatenhund was an offshoot.
Named after the Romanian Carpathian Shepherd Dog. Two of the members had previously been in the Dackel 5 – dackel being the name dachshunds are commonly known as in Germany.
A slightly odd track in being a reworking of The Cure’s ‘A Forest’ with different lyrics.

After a similar job for Leo ‘Chief Thundercloud’ Kahdot of the Potawatomi’s medicine show he finally did some substantial recording in the first few years of the 1960s.

1985. Single A-Side. Aya Suzuki was a backing singer for blues rockers Makoto Kubota & The Sunset Gang in the 1970s when christened ‘Sandii’ by sometime member Haruomi Hosono of the Yellow Magic Orchestra amongst many other thigns. The band changed their name on her promotion to lead vocalist.
The 12” version of this single contained a track written by another YMO member Ryuichi Sakamoto as heard on the first Loud Hailers.
For a period in the 1970s and 80s it may be easier to say when a member of YMO wasn’t involved.
