Many people spend their entire lives working for the benefit of others. Being famous, having a title, or living a life of luxury doesn’t negate what you have done, but it does make it easier.
I wasn’t going to comment on the death of an old woman I didn’t know but as people are being arrested for challenging an institution whose existence reinforces inequality in this country anyone who supports the right to what’s left of free speech should speak up.
